NEW YORK, 15th August. At the Forest Hills tournament, among^ the Americans surviving after to-day's play in the women national championship games are Mrs. Mallory Mi.ses Hooker, Bancroft, Wills, and Goss. Among the Englishwomen surviving are Mrs. Covell, Mrs. Clayton and Miss Kitty M'Kane. Illness compelled Mrs. Beamish to default.
