MELEE AT KILKEAL

ONE CIVILIAN KILLED.

(REUTERS TILSCRAM.) (Received 17th August, noon.) LONDON, 16th August, Dublin reports that the settling down process has been redisturbed by a melee at Kilkeal, near Bantry, apparently arising from a search by troops at a public house dance for suspects. One civilian was killed and Lieutenant O'Connolly seriously wounded. Two soldiers and two civilians were wounded.
