AUCKLAND, 16th August, • A girl, aged 15, was before Mr. J W Poyntou. S.M., to-day. She had' for 60me months been holding up children at street, cornorg and stealing money from them. Her mother thought, she was in employment, as sho brought home regularly fifteen shillings a, week. Innumerable, complaints had been made by parents to the police, and man-traps were set. Eventually accused was caught taking 7s BJd and 17s 6d from two children who were sent shopping. The Magistrate ordered accused to ba committed to the Christchurch Receiving Home. , 6
