ROME, 12th August. ±ne Italian authorities at Trieste seized a steamer which was about to leave Pola, for Jugo-Slavia laden with a million rifles, three thousand machine guns, and 'twenty-four mountain batteries, 'lhey also detained 'several persons, including a well-known agitator, who is in touch with-Communists. The arrested people state that, they purchased the weapons, as surplus materials,' from various military depots," for three million lire, and were to obtain ten million lire for them at Belgrade.
