ROTORUA, 11th '■ August. At Rugby football Wanganui beat Bay of Plenty by 13 points to 8. For tlie winners tries were scored by ,Grogan, C. Badeley, and Sinclair, and two were converted by A. Delves. For Bay of Plenty tries were secured by P.ini and Cupples, one being converted by M'Lean. ' . \' .
The forwards were evenly matched, but .the visiting backs were' superior. BelliSj C. Badeley, Delves, and Ross played best for .Wanganui, and Cupples M'Lean, Jones, Eini, and Herewini for
the losers. The game wasUvon on the call of time, Badeley scoring.
