FIRE ON A STEAMER

INVEBCARGILL, This Day. A fire occurred early this morning on the small steamer Kar'aka, lying at Bluff wharf. The brigade was promptly on the scene and soon had the outbreak subdued. The centre and superstructure of the vessel were • severely damaged. It ifi .estimated the repairs will cost £500!
