RECEIVING LIBERAL RELIEF.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.)
(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.)
LONDON, 9th August. The London dock strikers boast that with parish relief they can remain out for another six months. In a number of districts they are classed as ordinary unemployed and receive relief ranging from £1 for a man and his wife to £2 6s 6d for a family of five, plus rent and fuel, which amounts, to more than the normal wages of casual dockers.
