London has a new wonder restaurant—

It is a particularly interesting fact that the whole of the building, with the exception of the «teel framework, has been, erected by Messrs.; .Lyons's own construction and
engineering departments. The carry-your-service, which has proved so -''•^popular at" Messrs. Lyons's other es■vj£blishnrenis, .has a' :smnptuou6 home in the main hall- of the new establishments. On the same floor, in addition to the Caf&'of. Little Repasts and the snack counter, are the oyster bar and the soda fountain. The floors v.ill be known as the :Pergolese, the Louis XIV., the Empire', the Adams, and the Louis XVI. The sumptuous decorations are in each case appropriate to the period chosen. Paul Specht.. the famous American band
leader, has been engaged at a salary of £350. per week. There will also bo. an —--•orchestra of women, and L'Oonie, the acrobatic conductor, who is well known to diners' afr the Trocadero, is to conduct yet another.'orchestra..
