SCHOOLS AND PICTURE THEATRES TO CLOSE.
MASTER-TON, 6th August. Owing to the prevalence of inbuenza in a mild form, and the fact of a second death occurring from pneumonic influenza, the, municipal authorities have asked the school committees to close the schools, and requested the picture theatres also to close. The second victim was Miss Alice Broadway, of Otaki aged 23.
