PRINTING OFFICE EMPLOYEES.
A reminder was given to the Minister in Charge of the Government Printing Office by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. T. M. Wilford) yesterday that he promised in October last year to make a statement upon the annual leave of employees of that Department—a promise that had not been fulfilled The Minister (the Hon. G. J. Anderson) replied that at one time the employees of the Printing Department enjoyed special leave privileges. Thesn had been stopped, however, on account of general economic considerations, and the employees were now under the same conditions as members of other Departments in the Civil Service..
