LONDON, 4th August. The latest quotations for frozen and chilled meats are as follow.—
Sheep.—Canterbury, heavy, 7Jd per lb. North Island, heavy, 7Jd. New Zealand ewes, 5Jd. _, Australian ewes, 5Jd. Argentine ewes, old. Patagonian, heavy, 4sd; ewes, 5Jd.
Lambs.—Canterbury, light, lljd. Frozen Beef.—New Zealand fores, 2Jd; hinds, sd. Australian crops, 2|d; hinds, sd. Argentine fores, 2Jd; ltinds, 5Jd. Uruguay fore 6. 2d; hinds, 4d.
Chilled Beef.—Argentine fores, 2Jd: hinds, s}d. Uruqua'y fores, 2Jd; hinds, 4Jd. Other meats are unchanged.
