HAMILTON, This Day. The Frankton branch of the New Zealand Amalgamated; Society of Railway Servants has decided:'"That this branch pledges itself to oppose to its utmost any attempt to extend the week's work beyond forty-four hours, and urges the Executive Council to adopt the strongest measures to oppose the introduction of a forty-eight'hour week."
