(REUTERS TBLEORAM.) (Received 6th August, 9 a.m.)
TOKIO, 4th August. The Government has instructed Baron Hayashi to reply verbally to the British Note, expressing the hope that an amicable settlement will be reached in regard to the differences which are at present apparent between the British proposal and the French and Belgian desires.
