EMPRESS THEATRE.
Dorothy Mackaill, a new star in picturedom, occupies the leading 'role in "Mighty Lak" a Rose," now screening at the Empress Theatre. Fragile and artistic to the finger-tips, the new star occupies an ideal role, and presents a captivating study. A beautiful collie dog also figures intelligently in the cast, which is a notable one. The supports are excellent and the Empress Orchestra plays delightful selections.
