MAIN TRUNK EXPRESS DELAYED
A goods train which left Ohakune for Ta hape at 1 25 a.m. to-day became partially derailed near Ngaurukehu,. eleven miles north of Taihape. This resulted in a blocking of the Main Trunk line for four hours, by which time the obstruction was cleared. The Main Trunk express was held up at Waiouru until the line was reported, "all clear." The result of the delay will be that the Main Trunk express due at Wellington at 1 8 p.m. will not arrive until about 5 o clock this evening.
