TRAM TRAFFIC
TO THE EDITOR,
Sir, —It is interesting to note that in the near future something may be done to relieve the congestion at Courtenay place tram stop- in the way of a new tramway siding. While this is under consideration I would like to suggest that a new way (for Wellington) of boarding the cars be enforced. At present the system appears to be, "The •weakest goes to the wall," or, to be explicit, "the weakest goes to the floor." Is. it not possible to erect a barrier in which e ach individual must follow in line, as exampled at the railway booking offices?—l am, etc., ■ ABNER BENNETT. il.it August. :
