EVANS BAY CLUB.
i The monthly meeting of the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club w a s held on Thursday evening in the Club House, Evans Bay, Mr. A. J. Tbbotson presiding. Reports from the sub-commit-tees showed that in the near future the club members will have much to occupy their attention, especially from a social point of view, and on the whole a- very successful season is anticipated. Several new members were elected. It was decided },hat a roll of all club members be placed in a conspicuous position in the club house. The arrangements for the annual dance and presentation of prizes to be held this month are well in hand. It has also been decided to hold a smoke concert as soon as possible after the dance. In addition, a jumble sale has been arranged. The question of club badges was "again referred to, and in the absence of Mr J Patterson, who had.the matter in hand! a sub-committee was set up
