MELBOURNE, This Day. The hides market is practically lifeless, and competition was dull. Heavy hides were a full halfpenny lower; scoured and sloppy parcels were difficult of sale, and lights were unchanged.
Barley, English, 3s 9d to 4s per bushel. Oats, 3s 8d to 3s 9d per bushel. Potatoes, £13 10s to £14 10s per ton. Onions, £4 to £4 ISs per ton.
