CROSS COUNTRY
NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The New Zealand Cross Country Championships are to be held over the Canterbury College course at Christchurch to-morrow. Teams representing Otago, Canterbury, and Wellington are to compete. The Wellington team, which left for the South last .evening, 16 as follows:—D. Todd, A. Barclay. A. Page, A R. Watson, and T. Wilsnn,' with Mr. E. Shaw as manager. G. Dome (Hutt Valley Harriers) will also be competing ior individual honours. Rose fWairarapaj was unable to make the trip, owing to an attack of influenza early in the week, but will be available for selection in the New Zealand team. After the race .tomorrow the team to represent New -Zealand at the New South Wales and Australasian cross country championships in Sydney this month will be chosen by Messrs. Clarke" (Otago), C. H. Taylor (Canterbury), and S. Hall (Wellington), acting under the chairmanship of a member of the Cjuncil of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association... Mr. Hall leaves for the South to-night. Wellington won the New Zealand cross country championship last year, gaining tlie possible points. Todd was the .individual champion.
