The 'Journee Industrielle" publishes an article by an expert who has just returned from the occupied territory, and who states that the output from the liuhr! mines lias been enormously reduced and the factories are working short time. There were 74 blast furnaces in operation in January, but the number in Jilly was only 11. Taking 100 as the basic figure .representing the total production of the whole of the Ruhr? in January last, the figure had been reduced by July to 16.
