LODGE MEETING
' The half-yearly meeting of St. Patrick's Branch of the Hibernian Society was held on Monday evening. Bro. P. J. O'Neill (president) presided over a large attendance of members. A vote of condolence was passed with the Right Rev. Monsignor M'Kenna on the loss he and the Church had sustained through the death of his brother, the Very Rev. Dean T. M'Kenna. The late Dean was a strong supporter of the society, and showed his sympathy in many ways. The election of officers for the ensuing half-year resulted :—President, Bro. M. Walsh; vice-president, Bro. A. Kelly; treasurer, Bro. J. J. F Burko (re-elected); warden, Bro. P. J O'Rourke; guardian, Bro. A. M'Quillian. The newly-elected officers were installed by the past-president, Bro. P. J. O'Neill. Ths secretary, Bro. F. W. Whittaker, was absent through illneßs! Bro. X Clarke was appointed temporary secretary.
