LONDON, Ist August. The report of the Committee on the Army and Navy Canteens finds that charges that improper uses were made of the canteen funds are unsubstantiated, but it is of the opinion that Majors Boyd and Van den Bergh'failed to exercise ordinary care in the dispoßal of proJ?si't}-, ihu Committee übu considers it
remarkable that most of the goods sold at lmv prices were sold to ex-officials of the board who were friends of these two persons.
