A social gathering was held recently at the Government Printing Office as a farewell to Mr. F. Gibson (foreman ruler), who has retired after forty years' service. A presentation was made of a set of brushes and a gold, albert from the ruling department, and a Morris chair, suitably inscribed, from the binding department, Mr. J. S. Rutter (Overseer), who made the presentation on behalf of the staff, spoke with sincerity of the loyal co-operation shown by Mr. Gibson during his long period of service.
