In reply to critics who had urged that there should be heavier taxation of large landowners,,,the Prime Minister-stated in -the House of Representatives;,- in '-'ieplying to the Budget debate this morning, that She, would like: to .know where these wealthy landowners and the huge estates were: -In 1912, the land tax collected totalled' £647,116j last year it was £1,637,816. The income tax'in 1912 totalled £448,935, and last year £3,831,----932. After, quoting these figures, Mr. Massey said that he'did not know the wealthy landowners were. Mr. P.
