IMPERIAL REPRESENTATION.
A suggestion in regard to inter-Im-perial representation wajs made by Mr. J. A. Nash (Palmerston North) in the House of Representatives last night. His proposal was that the Dominions should have representation in the Home of Coiunions, and th§ Houta o£ Caamoryi
representation in the Dominion Parliaments. A representative setn to sit in the House of Commons might seat for a year or {wo, and vice versa, but such representatives should not necessarily have the right of voting on internal question, but only on-Empire matters. If such an- idea 1' were carried out, he thought it would lead to a larger number of public ' men- having a better knowledge'of conditions respecting Empire affairs, and would tend lio lessen the things which made for friction.
