LICENSING COMMITTEE
FURTHER BUSINESS TR4NSACTED.
A meeting of tho Licensing Committee was held to-day, Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.", presiding. There also Were present: Messrs. Clark, Ellison, Petheriek, Meadowcroft, and Chilman. Licenses were granted as follow: —
New applications in respect to old houses:—J. D. M'Kechnie (Thistle Inn) P. W. Corby (Cambridge), W. G Prce (Duke of Edinburgh). Renewals :—W. J. Hogan. (Princess); R. Dwver (Empire), F. Dobson TClarendon). The applications of J. Berryman (Pier) and J. A. Ross (Grand) were further adjourned until the quarterly meeting of the committee tn September
