NEW YORK, 13th July. The " Daily News " makes a 1 sensational charge ". against .Tex. Rickard's stadium, in which '100,000 people witnessed the Willard-Firpn fight. It is unsafe, ,the "News" declares, and had .Willard won a sudden rising, of the crowd might have caused the wooden bowl to collapse, with disastrous consequences. The paper also.- says that the stadium swayed six inches as ths crowd rose during an exciting moment in one of the preliminaries, and it urges that a rigorous investigation should be made before another large crowd is permitted to gather there. Previous to'the fight, Mr. Rickard was ordered to mak« certain repairs, which he was declared to have done.
