Current prices of nitrogenous fertilisers, while still above pre-war rates, are described by those in the trade as reasonable.. There is a good demand for blood and bone mixtures'. Uasic slag is increasing in demand. ■ There were 13.000 tons imported last year, as compared with 20,000 tons this year. Xauru phosniiatic rock treated in tlie Dominion as superphosphates lias almost entirely displaced imported "super." Imports of. superphosphates in 1915-1G were 50.000 tens, for 1821-22, SOOO. tons; for 1322-23. practically nothing.
