POSTMASTER CHARGED WITH FORGERY AND THEFT
CBK TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.! a i a r, HAMILTON, 20th June. At the Police Court to-day. Joseph Harrison Love, formerly postmaster at Tokaanu, aged 25. was charged that on 20th October, 1922., at Tokaanu. he committed forgery by making a' false document, a post office savings bank withdrawal receipt for £300, pin-porting to be signed by Kuna Banks, and further with stealing £300. He was remanded tilt 2nd July. , Another charge is pending, involvin" tho loss of £275 in cash. Bail totalling £1000 was allowed.
