EMPIRE EXHIBITION
MYSTERY BRITISH PAVILION.
(I'NIIBD PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIMGIir.) (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 19th June. The British Government intends to erect a pavilion at the British Empire Exhibition. The purpose is not disclosed, but it is believed to be for the display of apparatus relating to oversea, communication and defence. A vote for the purpose will be included in the Estimates. It is understood that Mr. Wintour's compensation for the loss of the general managership of the Exhibition amounts to £14,000.
