WASHINGTON, 15th June.
The State Department line been informed by. the Pekin Legation of President Li yuan-Hunt's resignation. Prior to handing in his resignation the. President sent a letter to all the foreign diplomatic corps, stating that he was unable longer to perform freely the duties of his office, and therefore he was going to Tien-tsin, wher he subsequently surrendered his seals of office. The President has bee,n allowed to proceed to his residence in. the British concession.
