PRINCESS THEATRE.
Two feature plays are included on the programme at the Princess Theatre to- | day. "Enchantment" is a satire on the modern society "flapper" and is said to be gorgeously screened and superbly acted. Marion Davies takes the part of the adorable Ethel Hoyt, but vanity tempts her to record her conquests in a diary. Mother gets the diary, and Papa Hoyt's eyes are opened to the necessity of taming his daughter. Love wins, as the sequel shows. Another feature is "The U.P. Trail," a photoplay version of Zane Grey's powerful romance, which skilfully portrays the virility, the vigorous humanity, and scorn of shame of the men Zane Grey loves. The cast is strong, and the story is crowded with breathless action. The supports are good, and the music entertaining.
