HARMONIC SOCIETY.
The Wellington Harmonic Society has been credited by competent critics with doing the best work of its kind in the Dominion, and music lovers will have an opportunity of hearing this choir of fifty picked voices at the first concert of the 1923 season at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, next Wednesday, at 8 p.m. Under the conductorship of' Sir. 11. The society will be assisted by Mr. Leon do Mauny, the very capital violinist, whose numbers will be " Largo " (Handel), " Second Hungnrian Dance-" ißrahms), and " Souvenir "' (Drdla). Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Orr will contribute the duet " Love's Command " (A. Goring Thomas), and The Harmonic Quartette will be heard in H.
