FIGHTING IN MOROCCO

MADRID, 6th June.
A Mellila communique states that the Spanish forces, supported by aeroplanes and artillery, escortiig convoys to Tizziassa, encountered a Moorish force numbering 7000. A fierce and prolonged engagement was fought, in which the Spaniards lost 400 killed and wounded. The Moors, whose losses were much heavier, were mowed down by artillery fire. The Spanish convoys reached Tizziassa.
