BRITAIN GETS ,£7,000,000 FROM GERMANY COMMUNIST OUTBREAK SPREADS. (Received 26th May, 2. 15 p.m.) LONDON, 25th May. A Treasury statement shows that Germany, for the financial year ended 31st March, paid Britain £7,476,000 sterling for reparations, including £1,700,000 for the maintenance of the British Army of Occupation.
Advices in Paris from Dnsseldorf state that the Communist outbreak has spread to Essen, where the crowds pillaged shops.
