The New Zealand, Loan and Mercantile Company is advised by cablegram, dated London, 25th May, as follows:—" New Zealand Dairy Produce: Butter, including unsalted, 140s to 146s per cwt; faildemand. Cheese, 84s to 86s per cwt; market steady." Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report having received the following cablegram from their London house under data' of 24th May:—" Butter market slow. We Quote: New Zealand salted, 140s; Danish, 1545; finest Australian salted, 138s; finest Australian unsalted, 140g ; g.a.q. Australian, 1285,, Cheese market wealc and tending downwards.
