ALLIES AND GERMANY
I TO-MORROW'S CONFERENCE FRENCH TRIBUTE TO BRITAIN. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRISIT.) (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) ■" , PARIS, 24th May._ Sunday's meeting between M. Poincare, M. Theunis, and M. Jasper is regarded by the Belgians as the preface to 'a wider inter-Allied Conference, when the Allied policy regarding Germany will be exhaustively reviewed. M. Poincare, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies before the Senate's decision regarding the Communists were known, paid a tribute to Britain for her action in the Ruhr regarding the railways in the British zone, which, he said, greatly facilitated France's task. Thanks to that, be and France were now in a position to wait until Germany came to reason. If Germany delayed too long, France would' take measures, to hasten her decision. She would treat Germany in the same manner that France was treated in 1870. The Premier added that tha coal and coke deliveries were quite satisfactory. France, therefore, was in no hurry. She would not abate her demands in. connection with the A and B bonds, but there could be negotiations about the C bonds.
