UNITED BY MARRIAGE.

CAIRO, 24th May. The marriage has been registered in the Moslem religious courts of Miss Morwena Bird, an English girl, who has been the belle of Cairo ballrooms since the v/av, and Prince Said Halim, second cousin of King Fuad. Miss Bird is the daughter of the late Colonel Bingham ■Bird, who for many years was stationed in Egypt. She and her mother have been regular winte* visitors to Cairo. The Prince's relatives, including a wealthy aunt, from whom he had gr^at expectations, strongly opposed the match. The marriage took place secretly, and its disclosure caused a sensation in Cairo.
