At a meeting' of the Catholic Truth Society/ says the Daily Telegraph," it was explained that the 'Abbey of Ypres, which stood, in the Rue St. Jacques, was built in. 1665 for British and Irish nuns, and during the whole of its history it maintained an unbroken connection with tho mother countries, the community always consisting of British subjects.
