A CIRCUIT SYSTEM
ON CITY TRAM ROUTES.
A modification of the proposed tramway route through Wakefield street and
(Victoria street was agreed to by the » City Council last night. Originally, it '. iivas intended to. take tile, tracks, from ' [Victoria street through Hunter street, ■• into Lambton quay, where they would • junction with the other lines, but the change in the plans agreed to by the council practically means the introduc- • tion to Wellington of the circuit sys- .- tern on the main city 'routes.
