A RED-LETTER DAY IN ITS HISTORY. (II miGRAPH.—PRISS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 24th May. The Masonic Hall was hopelessly" inadequate for the accommodation of the crowds of ladies who wished to attend the meeting of the Mothers' Union held in connection with the Church Congress' this afternoon. The speakers at the gathering were Mrs. Bickersteth, the Bishop of Dornakal, and the Bishop of Willochra.

Mrs. W. G. Roberts, who presided, said the day was a red-letter day in the history of the union.

There were present members and patrons of the union from many parts of the world.
