"No Trumps."—lv playing 500 the first lead in each hand is taken by the player -who nominates himself to' secure the highest number of tricks. In other words the first lead comes from the player who "makes it" and picks up "kitty." After the first lead the player taking each successive "trick" leads thd next card. In the event of no player "making it," the "kitty" is'left on the table, and the hands are played out as on a call of no trumps, each side counting ten points for each trick taken by the side. In a case like tin's, ths dealer leads the first card. "E. Bullot. I'—The first was held on tne Srd April last year, and they were held weekly throughout the winter.
