LONDON WOOL SALES
PRICES FOR FARMERS' LOTS.
Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London'Spgents, dated 9th May:—
"The following prices are current for average farmers' lots:—Scoured merinos, 4s 2d per pound. Greasy wools: Merinos, 24d to 30d per 1b; super halfbreds, 56's, 22d to 27d; fine halfbreda, 50-56's, 20d to' 23d; halfbreds, 48-50's, 15d to 18d; fine crossbreds, 46-48's, 13d to 15d; medium, 44-46's, lid to 12d; coarse, 40-44's, lOd to lid; low, 36-40's, 9£d to 10£ d; crossbred pieces, 9d to lOd ; bellies, B|d to 9£d; locks, 5d to 6d."
