LONDON, 9th May. Obituary.—Seymour Lucas, Royal Academician.
John Seymour Lucas was a ■wellknown painter of historical pictures and portraits. He painted a fresco.for the Eoyal Exchange, London, representing William the Conejueror granting the flrßt charter to the City of London, and another for the House of Commons of "The Flight of the Five Members, 1642."
