A message from Wheeling, West Virginia, states that the Federal Grand Jury returned 87 indictments charging various officials and prominent residents of Ohio County with taking part in a conspiracy to violate the Volstead Act. Those indicted included a former city treasurer, the deputy-gaoler, and members of the council. Eighteen arrests have been made so far.
