ANOTHER INCIDENT
MEMBER OF MISSION WOUNDED.
(Eeceived 10th May, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, 9th May. The Russian Telegraph Agenoy states that while militia were following a gang of burglars in Mo3cow one of the criminals jumped on a motor-car containing members of the British Trade Commission which was passing. The criminal forged fiie chauffeur to drive on, and meanwhile fired on his pursuers. In an exchange of shote, Mr. Sloggett, a member of the British Commission, was wounded. ,The criminal was mortally wounded. The Department of Foreign Affairs has expressed to the mission its extreme regret.
