LONDON TALLOW MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, lias received the following advice from its London office under date 9th May :— "Tallow continues in poor demand. Current quotations: Good mutton and beef, 41b to 41s 6d per cwt; mixed, 40s eid to «s per cwt; gut, 35s to 37s per cwt." The -Yew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London house, under date 9th Alay:—"Tallow : We quote present spot values for the following descriptions —Fine mutton, 48s fid per cwt; good beet, 41s 3d per cwt; mixed, 86s 9d per cwt; market quiet."
