SENTENCED FOR THEFT

PALMERSTON N., This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day John Francis O'Keefe, found guilty of theft of articles from a hotel at Dannevirke, was sentenced to three years' hard labour.
Poto Harawira and Roko Wibon, who had pleaded guilty at Levin to a charge of sheep-stealing, were sentenced to imprisonment for three months and one month respectively.
