NGAIO SCHOOL SITE
A deputation representing the Ngaio School Committe, accompanied by Messrs. R. A. Wright, M.P., T. Forsyth (chairman of the Education Board), A. J. White (School Committees' AsBociation), and Gr. L. Stewart (secretary of the Education Board), waited upon the Minister of Education (the Hon. C. J. Parr) to-day in reference to the Ngaio School site. It was suggested that a new site should be secured, and a proposal was made to the Minister. The Minister expressed some doubt as to whether the suggested new site was sufficiently central, having regard to the possible development of the suburb. He asked the deputation to obtain further particulars. He also promised that he would visit the' district at an. early date and so secure a first-hand knowledge of the requirements.
