Sir James Allen, New Zealand' High Commissioner, presided at a meeting of the Polynesian Association, held to bid farewell to the Bishop of Polynesia. It was mentioned that the Australian and New Zealand Missionary Societies are each contributing £1000 to the funds of the diocese.
